Dewar Booster Club will be sponsoring a dodgeball tournament called DODGE-A-BALL-A on Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Dewar High School Gymnasium. This fundraiser will cost $5 per entrant with teams comprising of up to a six-person roster. The registration sign-in will be at 8:30 a.m. followed by a team captain meeting at 9 a.m. Tournament will begin at 9:30 a.m. There are two divisions: 5 th through 8 th grade and 9 th grade through adults. “A lot of people have asked if they can play on more than one team,” Dewar Booster Club President Kerry Been said. “Yes, that’s possible, however, if those two teams come up against one another in a match, that person has to decide which team they want to play with.” Teams may call in their registration by telephone to Been at 918-650-5950. However, entry fee and signed medical releases must be turned in prior to their team’s first game. All minors must have a parent’s signature to play.
